AWARDS
Horticulture Award
The Horticulture Award is presented at the September meeting. The Exhibits Chairman will award a prize to the member who has earned the highest number of points for horticulture during the year. The cumulative horticulture points will not include points awarded on roses and daffodils.
Rose Award
The Rose Award is presented to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points for roses. Points must include three blue ribbons. Rose specimens are unlimited in this category. A member may enter only one specimen per variety (for example, only one Peace rose).
Daffodil Award
The Daffodil Award is presented to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points for daffodils. Points must include three blue ribbons. Daffodil specimens are unlimited in this category. A member may enter only one specimen per variety (for example, only one Mt. Hood daffodil).
Kendrick Award
The Kendrick Award is presented at the September meeting to the exhibitor who has accumulated the most points for arrangements and horticulture during the year.
Emily Shomo Award
The Emily Shomo Award is presented at the September meeting. The award is given to an active member of the Club who supports the purposes and activities of the Club. Her enthusiastic and dedicated participation in Red Hill Garden Club exemplifies the ideals set forth by the founding members. The recipient is selected by the Executive Committee.
